A New Era of Healthcare Shines in Makhado
Makhado is experiencing a healthcare transformation with the impressive Crestcare Zoutpansberg Private Hospital taking centre stage. During a recent tour, Makhado Municipality’s Mayor, Her Worship Cllr Dorcus Mboyi, engaged with the hospital’s management team, exploring the state-of-the-art medical services and advanced technology that are redefining patient care in Louis Trichardt.
“I am thrilled that our residents no longer have to travel long distances to access healthcare,” Mayor Mboyi remarked, clearly impressed by the improvements since the hospital’s inception in 2020. With 450 beds and a workforce of around 800, many of whom are proud locals, the facility is quickly becoming a cornerstone of the community.
Regional Manager Mr. Kobus Nel shared the hospital’s ambitious vision. “We aim to create a peri-urban environment that attracts more specialists and incorporates advanced technology to enhance the health and well-being of our community,” he said.
Accompanied by members of the municipal executive committee, Mayor Mboyi’s visit highlights the municipality’s strong commitment to partnering with diverse stakeholders to boost essential services, including improved healthcare access and quality for residents.
With its focus on innovation and community health, the hospital stands as a shining example of modern healthcare in Makhado.
